The electrosurgical medical device may include a tubular conductive element disposed about the outer surface of the elongated tubular member at a distal portion of the tubular member. The conductive tubular member can be delivered to the treatment site of the patient's gastrointestinal (GI) tract and electrically actuated. While electrically actuated, the tubular conductive element can form openings in the walls of the GI tract and pseudocysts.
