PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life prolonging agent for cut flowers which can hold cut flowers in a fresh state for a long period, is safe, does not cause a chemical injury, is produced at a low cost, and little affects environments, when disposed.SOLUTION: The life prolonging agent for cut flowers includes a rutaceous plant seed extract and a cypress plant extract. When the extracts are each contained in small amounts, the decay of water can efficiently be prevented, and when nutrients and a moisturizing agent originated from natural products are compounded, the freshness of the cut flowers can be held for a long period. Since the extracts do not use a chemically synthesized compound, environmental loads are low, when the extracts are disposed. Further, since containing disposed biological resources as a part of raw materials, the life prolonging agent for cut flowers contributes also to the effective utilization of un-utilized resources.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】切花を長期間新鮮な状態に保つ事ができ、安全で薬害がなく、かつ安価で廃棄時の環境影響の小さい切花延命剤を提供する。【解決手段】ミカン科植物種子抽出物及びヒノキ科植物抽出物との組み合わせにより、それぞれごく少量の配合量において効率的に水の腐敗を抑制するとともに、天然由来の栄養素および保湿剤を配合することで、切花の鮮度を長期に保持させることが可能となった。また、これらは化学合成により得られた化合物を用いていないため、廃棄時の環境負荷が低く、さらに従来、廃棄されてきた生物資源を原料の一部としているため、未利用資源の有効活用にも寄与する。【選択図】なし
