PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ribbon cable promoting connection (coupling) of an ultrasonic processor having continuous signal arrangement to a probe having alternate signal arrangement.SOLUTION: A cable assembly 300 includes a first group of wires 200a and a second group of wires 200b. The wires in the plural groups are arranged side by side. The wires in the plural groups are held so as to be separated with a first distance in respective first ends 210a, 210b. The wires in the plural groups are held so as to be separated with a second distance longer than the first distance in a second end 205ab.
