PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing device in which the initial speed of opening a cover body is made faster than the operating speed of an actuator, and thereby prompt action in an emergency is made possible.SOLUTION: A threshing device includes: a cover body 15 of a threshing chamber 11 an electric hydraulic cylinder 22 for opening and closing the cover body 15 a gas spring 23 for biasing the cover body 15 to the opening direction a locking member 24 for fixing the cover body 15 in a closed position flexibility means 35 for permitting the operation of the electric hydraulic cylinder 22 while the cover body 15 is in the closed position and linkage means 36 for linking the electric hydraulic cylinder 22 with the locking member 24. The linkage means 36 releases the fixing of the cover body 15 by the locking member 24 according to the operation of the electric hydraulic cylinder 22 while the cover body 15 is in the closed position.
