The thrombectomy device comprises a delivery catheter (1), a dilator catheter (5) and a funnel (3), defining a distal end and a proximal end, said funnel (3) being positionable in a retracted position and in an extended position, and it is characterized in that said funnel (3) also comprises a covering (4), the diameter of the distal end of the funnel (3) being greater in the extended position than in the retracted position. It permits an aspiration from a very close proximity to the thrombus and with a large mouth, allowing occlusion of the artery, stopping the flow, and aspirating the entire thrombus without fragmenting it.
