PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging type container for volatilizing agent which enables a user to freely select a material of a hook irrespective of a content of a volatilizing agent and, moreover, facilitates an assembling operation and does not increase the size of the container even when an indicator is disposed adjacently to the hook.SOLUTION: The hanging type container 1 for volatilizing agent includes a container body 3, the hook 5 which hangs and retains the container body 3 and the indicator 7. The container body 3 comprises: an interior body 9 which retains the volatilizing agent S on the inner side of the interior body 9 and an exterior body 1 composed of a pair of exterior body half parts 28, 29 which are formed integrally with the hook 5 with the use of a material different from that of the interior body 9, retain the interior body 9 on the inner side of the exterior body 1 by being combined with each other.
