PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse detection device effectively reduces noise while reducing processing load of the device.SOLUTION: A pulse detection device 100 includes: a pulse wave sensor 10 a pulse wave signal filtering part 200 having a first adaptive filter 202a and a second adaptive filter 202b which adaptively filter a pulse wave signal and one of which is selectively used an adaptive filter switching part 17 which switches an adaptive filter to be used in a first period in which the pulse wave sensor continuously operates and a pulse wave frequency analysis part 400.
