PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-injection assisting tool capable of pulling out a needle cap from a needle without directly touching the needle cap and not exposing a sharp needle tip after the needle cap is pulled out. SOLUTION: A self-injection auxiliary tool 1 used by attaching a needle tip to a syringe covered with a cap moves relative to a main body 10 having a tubular structure capable of accommodating at least a part of the syringe. A pair of chuck members 50A and 50B having a slidable portion 20 and a grip portion 53 and being supported by the slide portion and arranged in the main body are provided. An operation regulating portion that regulates the operation of the chuck member is provided in the main body, and by moving the slide portion relative to the main body, the grip portion approaches the chuck member and the cap can be gripped. The distance between the gripping portions is longer than that in the first state, and the gripped cap can be arranged in the second state where it can be released.
