The present invention relates to compositions comprising a recombinant respiratory syncitial virus (RSV) Fusion (F) polypeptide that is stabilized in the pre-fusion conformation, wherein said RSV F polypeptide comprises at least one mutation as compared to a wild type RSV F polypeptide, wherein the at least one mutation is selected from the group consisting of: a) a mutation of the amino acid aspartic acid (D) on position 486, b) a mutation of the amino acid aspartic acid (D) on position 489, and c) a mutation of the amino acid serine (S) on position 398 and/or the amino acid lysine (K) on position 394. The invention also relate to compositions comprising an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding said stable RSV F polypeptides.La présente invention concerne des compositions comprenant un polypeptide de fusion (F) recombinant du virus respiratoire syncytial (VRS) stabilisé dans la conformation de pré-fusion, ledit polypeptide F du VRS comprenant au moins une mutation par rapport à un polypeptide F du VRS de type sauvage, ladite mutation étant sélectionnée dans le groupe constitué par: a) une mutation de l'acide aminé acide aspartique (D) en position 486, b) une mutation de l'acide aminé acide aspartique (D) en position 489, et c) une mutation de l'acide aminé sérine (S) en position 398 et/ou de l'acide aminé lysine (K) en position 394. L'invention concerne également des compositions comprenant une molécule d'acide nucléique isolée codant pour lesdits polypeptides F stables du VRS.
