PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel capable of detecting a feeding/winding situation of a fishing line with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A fishing reel of the present invention is provided for rotationally driving a spool 5a by the winding operation of a handle 11 to thereby wind a fishing line.
