PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus and the like which allow intuitive and detailed observation without performing complicated operation in display of a designated interest region with respect to a scout image.
SOLUTION: In the radiography apparatus M, a display means 88 displays a first X-ray image as a scout image for designating an interest region (r), a designating means 86 designates the interest region (r) on the first X-ray image displayed to the display means 88. An image processing means 85 generates a second X-ray image to be an X-ray CT image including at least a frontally viewed X-ray CT image which frontally views the interest region (r) from the observation reference direction with higher resolution than a first X-ray image on the basis of the designation.
