PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that measures movements of the right and left sides of the face of a subject from taken moving images of the subject and measures time differences between both the movements.
SOLUTION: The technique includes: the step in which moving images of the face of the subject is acquired the step in which immovable feature points are extracted from parts on the skin of the subject with small position changes, for frames of the moving image the step in which left (right) movable feature points are extracted from parts on the left (right) side of the face of the subject with large position changes of the skin and the step in which feature values on the left (right) side of the face of the subject are calculated on the basis of positional relationships between the immovable feature points and left (right) side movable feature points. The technique measures expression changes on the right and left sides of a subject by means of the steps.
