The present invention relates to a composition comprising a moringa oleifera leaf extract for treating and preventing cancer and, more specifically, to obtaining a better effect in treating and preventing cancer by combining a little amount of radiation and the moringa oleifera leaf extract while minimizing side effects of radiation. In the case of injecting even a little amount of the moringa oleifera leaf extract before and after irradiation of radiation, an improved anticancer effect can be obtained compared to the case of only irradiation of radiation, therefore natural extracts are expected to be commercialized in combined treatment as radiation supplements.본 발명은 모링가()잎 추출물을 포함하는 암 치료 또는 예방을 위한 방사선 병용 처치용 조성물에 관한 것으로 상세하게는 모링가잎 추출물과 적은 양의 방사선의 병용 처치를 통해 방사선 부작용을 최소화하면서 향상된 암 치료 또는 예방 효과를 얻는 것에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 모링가 잎 추출물을 방사선 조사 전후에 함께 투여함으로써 적은 양의 방사선 조사를 통해서도 방사선 투여만을 실시한 경우 대비 보다 향상된 항암효과를 얻을 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 천연 추출물을 방사선 보조제로 활용하여 병용 치료를 하는 방향으로의 상용화가 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
