An apparatus to extract the directional nature of a rain information flow in a brain network includes: a brain information flow model forming unit which determines brain areas related to a specific phenomenon based on the brain network and forms one or more brain information flow models representing a brain information flow among the determined brain areas； and a brain information flow model determining unit which determines a brain information flow model related to the specific phenomenon among the one or more brain information flow models by analyzing a correlation between an index related to the specific phenomenon and the maximum transmission amount of information of each brain information flow model.뇌 네트워크에서 뇌 정보 흐름의 방향성을 추출하는 장치로서, 뇌 네트워크를 기초로 특정 현상에 관계된 뇌 영역들을 결정하고, 결정한 뇌 영역들 사이의 뇌 정보 흐름을 나타내는 적어도 하나의 뇌 정보 흐름 모델을 만드는 뇌 정보 흐름 모델 작성부, 그리고 뇌 정보 흐름 모델별 최대 정보 전달량과 상기 특정 현상에 관계된 지수의 상관 관계를 분석하여, 상기 적어도 하나의 뇌 정보 흐름 모델 중에서 상기 특정 현상에 관계된 뇌 정보 흐름 모델을 결정하는 뇌 정보 흐름 모델 결정부를 포함한다.
