The present disclosure relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC in abbreviation, the term "hepatocellular carcinoma" has its general meaning in the art and refers to the cancer developed in hepatocytes see page 2 lines 24-30 of the present application) comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an inhibitor of NTSR1 (Neurotensin Receptor 1) activation or expression. The examples show the expression of NTSR1 in HCC cell lines and the role of the NTS/NTSR1 complex in these cell lines, thereby showing the role of the complex in tumour progression.La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions pharmaceutiques pour le traitement des carcinomes hépatocellulaires (CHC en abrégé, l'expression "carcinome hépatocellulaire" a son sens général dans l'état de la technique et concerne le cancer développé dans les hépatocytes, cf. page 2 lignes 24-30 de la présente demande) comprenant l'administration, au sujet, d'une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un inhibiteur de l'activation ou de l'expression du NTSR1 (récepteur 1 de la neurotensine). Les exemples montrent l'expression du NTSR1 dans des lignées cellulaires du CHC et le rôle du complexe NTS/NTSR1 dans ces lignées cellulaires, montrant ainsi le rôle du complexe dans la progression tumorale.
