PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful artificial anterior tooth at a low cost, favorably executing mechanical retention with a denture base regardless of a material of a floor resin and capable of securing aesthetic property of the artificial tooth in a wide variety of cases, for example, for a patient with degenerated gum.SOLUTION: An artificial anterior tooth 1 including a dental root 3 extending from a dental crown 2 by a predetermined length, includes a retention recess in a labiolingual direction formed at a mesial side and/or a distal side of the dental root 3. For example, besides a case where the artificial anterior tooth is an acrylic resin and the denture base is an acrylic resin, even when the denture base is polypropylene, nylon, or the like, this configuration can provide the artificial tooth capable of mechanically retaining the artificial anterior tooth and the denture base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 床用レジンの材料に関わらず義歯床との機械的維持が良好で、幅広い症例、例えば、歯肉が退縮した患者にとっても義歯の審美性を確保できるのに有用な人工前歯を安価に提供する。【解決手段】 歯冠部2から歯根部3が所定長さ延設された人工前歯1であって、歯根部3の近心および/または遠心側に維持用の唇舌方向の凹部が形成されてなることを特徴とし、例えば、人工前歯がアクリル系レジン、義歯床がアクリル系レジンの場合はもちろん、義歯床がポリプロピレン、ナイロン等であっても、人工前歯と義歯床との機械的維持が可能な義歯が得られる。【選択図】 図1
