The mixing auger can be provided with a carrier (12) carrying a rotatable disc (13). The front edge (8) of the mixing blade (7) is fixed relative to the column. At least one side of the rotatable disc (13) is at the same height as the front edge (8) of the mixing blade (7). The angular distance between the front edge (8) and the rotatable disc (13) is larger than 0 radians.
