A fixation system (100) for repairing a pars fracture, comprising:a needle guide (200) configured to be docked on a lamina of the parsa needle (310), a portion of the needle configured for insertion through a passage (230) of the needle guidea guidewire (500), a portion of the guidewire configured for insertion through a passage (330) of the needle anda screw assembly (600) including a collar (650) and an elongated portion (640), the collar being movable with respect to the elongated portion, a portion of the screw assembly configured to contact the lamina co-axially with the guidewire.
