An application is provided that transfers volatile compounds encapsulated by a variety of methods to achieve a targeted release of those compounds to provide specific functional effects during normal use of the fabrics to which the encapsulated materials are transferred. This application is renewable and is typically performed during normal laundering of targeted fabrics.
