PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing system which, when the processing of medical images is divided among multiple workers, enables the work status of each worker to be easily verified.SOLUTION: A server includes an image storage unit, an image-processing unit, a progress management unit, and a UI control unit. The image storage unit stores medical images of different regions of a subject's body. The image-processing unit receives a request from one of a plurality of clients for each medical image and processes the medical image. The progress management unit generates processing progress information for each medical image on the basis of the stage of processing by the image-processing unit for each of the multiple medical images and manages the progress information for the multiple medical images collectively. According to the processing stages indicated in the progress information, the UI control unit generates display screen data showing the processing status of the medical images of the corresponding body regions in the multiple screen regions corresponding to the multiple body regions and transmits same to one of the multiple clients.【課題】医用画像に対する処理を複数の操作者に分担して行う場合において、各操作者の作業状況を容易に確認可能とする。【解決手段】サーバーは、画像記憶部と、画像処理部と、進捗管理部と、ＵＩ制御部とを備える。画像記憶部は、被検体の異なる身体部位の医用画像を記憶する。画像処理部は、複数のクライアントのうちのいずれかから医用画像ごとに依頼を受けて、当該医用画像に対する処理を実行する。進捗管理部は、複数の医用画像それぞれに対する画像処理部による処理の段階に基づいて各医用画像に対する処理の進捗情報を作成し、複数の医用画像の進捗情報を一括管理する。ＵＩ制御部は、進捗情報に示す処理段階に応じて、複数の身体部位に対応する複数の画面領域に、対応する身体部位の医用画像の処理状況を提示する表示画面データを生成して複数のクライアントのいずれかに送信する。【選択図】図１
