Described is a method for checking syringe bodies (100) of the type comprising a hollow body (101), a seal (103) for closing the hollow body (101) and a dose of a liquid product enclosed by the hollow body (101) and by the seal (103), the method comprising the steps of applying a pneumatic negative pressure to the syringe body (100) and moving a stop body (10) towards the syringe body (100) in such a way that, during at least a part of the step of applying the pneumatic negative pressure, the stop body (10) obstructs withdrawal of the seal (103) towards a rear end of the syringe body (100) opposite the liquid.
