An agricultural implement (1) comprises a fan (4) arranged to produce an air flow to a feed device (5a, 5b) for metering and/or feeding of granular of powdery material, wherein the fan (4) comprises an impeller (42) accommodated in a fan housing (40), and wherein the fan housing has an inlet (41) upstream of the impeller (42) and an outlet (43) downstream of the impeller (42). The sizes and geometries of the impeller (42) and of the fan housing (40), as well as drive speeds for the fan, are chosen such that the fan housing (40), downstream of the impeller (42) and upstream of the outlet, has a portion (P) in which, during operation, a pressure within the range 0.3-15 kPa obtains and in which a ratio between flow (q) and cross-sectional area (A) is within the range 3-10 m/s. The application also includes a method of feeding air in an agricultural implement.
