PURPOSE: An avian pathogenic E.coli-specific bacteriophage is provided to specifically sterilize O78 avian pathogenic E.coli.CONSTITUTION: A bacteriophage(deposit number KCCM10995) has a genome sequence of sequence number 1. A composition for preventing or treating avian pathogenic colibacillosis contains the bacteriophage as an active ingredient. The colibacillosis is infected by avian pathogenic E.coli of O78 serotype. The colibacillosis includes funiculitis, airsacculitis, cellulitis, salpingitis, arthritis, polyorrhymenitis, spondylitis or sepsis. An antibacterial agent contains the bacteriophage as an active ingredient. A composition for feed additive contains the bacteriophage.
