An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for measuring a growth amount through image analysis of ginseng, comprising: a first step of receiving a first image, which is a color planar image of the ginseng and a second image which is a multi-dimensional image of the ginseng; a second step of mapping the first image with the second image according to a view angle and extracting a crop organ image for set growth amount measurement items of an aerial part in the ginseng by pixel division based on set color characteristics of the ginseng and set unique shape patterns of each ginseng organ; a third step of calculating numeral growth values of the set measurement items among the measurement items of leaf length, leaf width and stalk length of the ginseng from the extracted crop organ image to extract a growth change rate in set time series; a fourth step of registering information diagnosed as normal growth when the growth change rate is a first set change rate, as nutrient growth when the growth change rate is a second set change rate greater than the first set change rate by a first set difference amount, and as generative growth when the growth change rate is a third set change rate less than the first set change rate by a second set difference amount; and a fifth step of, according to the registered information, diagnosing the ginseng as the normal growth in the case that the extracted growth change rate is the first set change rate, as the nutrient growth in the case of being the second set change rate or greater and as the generative growth in the case of being less than the third set change rate.
