The invention discloses a method for making a soybean milk the method comprises the following steps: (a) heating ground slurry with a first power for a first time, wherein the temperature of the slurry does not rise to a boiling point (b) heating the slurry with a second power less than the first power for a second time (c) determining the increasing temperature of the slurry within the second time and if the increasing temperature is not lower than a set value, repeating the step (b) otherwise, entering a step (d) (d) stopping the heating for a third time and (e) judging whether the circulating frequency of executing the steps (a) to (d) reaches a preset frequency and if not, returning to the step (a), wherein the preset frequency is at least two times. Through the adoption of the method disclosed by the invention, the soybean milk can be prevented from overflowing while the soybean milk is effectively boiled and a good soybean milk making effect is obtained.
