The applicator and method for removing hair is disclosed. The applicator comprises at least one light source and at least one hair removal mechanism. The hair is of mechanical means, or be removed by application of RF. The hair removal mechanism is exchangeable mechanism, it includes mechanisms such as rotating tweezers epilator, spring type epilator, razor, or electric shaver. The light source is a xenon lamp, the LED, and a combination thereof.
