A catheter handle which can be extremely easily operated and can maintain the shape of the distal end of a catheter in a bent state.A catheter handle is provided with a handle body (24), an operating section (22) mounted to the handle body (24) so as to be movable in an axial direction, and a ring-shaped elastic member (42) mounted between the handle body (24) and the operating section (22). The inner peripheral surface of the elastic member (42) is adapted such that the inner peripheral surface can make contact with a tapered surface (40), which is formed at a part of the operating section (22), and move in the axial direction. When the operating section (22) is moved in the direction to the distal end relative to the handle body (24), a distal end section of a catheter tube (4) is bent and the elastic member (42) moves in the axial direction to the large-diameter side of the tapered surface (40).
