PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship that is made to turn around quickly when gliding on a water surface or soil sludge by providing a propeller or a rudder on a deck.SOLUTION: A ship is provided with: a ship body 2 with a ship bottom side configured substantially flat a propeller provided on a deck of the ship body 2 a rudder 5 provided at the rear of the propeller and a plate-like aerial ladder 22 provided on the bow more than a longitudinal center of the ship body 2, and standing in the longitudinal direction. Then, the ship body 2 is rotated by steering the rudder 5, and the aerial ladder 22 provided at the bow side is exposed to wind to thereby generate lift and drag.
