PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further develop an oral contraception process and an administration form on the assumption that the number of bleedings is reduced while ensuring reliability of contraceptives.SOLUTION: The contraception process includes administration of contraceptive hormones in a plurality of linked taking periods. Each taking period includes at least one taking cycle, which comprises a taking phase lasting for a fixed period of time and a taking pause lasting several days. In each taking phase, at least one contraceptive hormonal component is administrated in a daily unit. In each taking pause, either a placebo containing no hormonal component or no unit is administered. The duration of the taking phase or phases of at least the final taking period is at least 22 days. The duration of each taking phase in any taking period preceding a following taking period is shorter than that in each of the taking phases in each following taking period.【課題】避妊薬の信頼性を保証しつつ、出血回数を減少させるという前提に従って、経口避妊方法及び、投与形態をさらに発展させること。【解決手段】複数の順序のある服用期間内でのホルモンによる避妊方法であって、各服用期間内では一定期間継続する服用フェーズと、数日間持続する休薬フェーズを含む服用サイクルを少なくとも１含み、ここで服用フェーズの日ごとの投与は、少なくとも１の避妊作用性ホルモン成分を含む日用投与単位として行われ、かつ、休薬フェーズにおける投与は、ホルモン成分を含まないプラセボとして行われるか、又は全く投与されないままであり、そして少なくとも最後の服用期間の服用フェーズの持続時間は、少なくとも２２日間であり、ここで後続の服用期間に先行する服用期間内の各服用フェーズの持続時間が、上記の後続の服用フェーズよりも短かいことを特徴とする、前記ホルモンによる避妊方法。【選択図】なし。
