The mass of an infant and its gestational age at the moment of birth are determined. No earlier than once a week the dopplerographic scan of blood flow in anterior cerebral artery in the period from second to fourth week of life is predicted. The resistance index of anterior cerebral artery is calculated. Рассчитывают индекс резистентности передней мозговой артерии. Развитие задней агрессивной ретинопатии недоношенных прогнозируют при значениях индекса резистентности передней мозговой артерии более 0,83 не менее чем в двух измерениях, и наличии одного из следующих признаков: масса ребенка равна 900 г или менее, гестационный возраст на момент рождения равен 26 недель или менее.
