PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic bone density measurement system which allows large-scale screening of severe osteoporosis.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic bone density measurement system (10) uses a computer (84, 86) to indicate a patient and allows an ordinary person to use for screening in the absence of a manager in a simply disinfected kiosk. The system for public use comprises a bone density measurement instrument, ultrasonic exchanger instruments, and a display terminal, wherein the bone density measurement instrument is mounted with a seat and a leg support which receives the leg of a sitting person and is sized to position the leg in a predetermined direction.
