The invention relates to a system and a method for detecting certain characteristic conditions based on biometric data, used for monitoring the evolution in time of the biological parameters, to estimate the presence/absence of certain mental conditions. According to the invention, the system consists of a subsystem (I) for biometric data acquisition and a subsystem (II) for biometric data processing, where the subsystem (I) for biometric data acquisition allows recording of some biometric signals (S1...Sn) such as the EEG signals from an electroencephalograph (1), GSR signals from a skin response galvanic sensor (2), EKG signals from an electrocardiograph (3), gaze tracking signals from a gaze motion sensor (4), head motion tracking signals from a head motion sensor (5), pulse frequency signals from a pulse-measuring device (6), blood oxygenation signals from a blood oxygenation measuring device, respiration frequency signals from a respiration monitoring device (8), and also signals from other devices for monitoring biometric parameters, the subject being subjected to a series of stimuli previously known to trigger or not the condition (S), the biometric signals (S1...Sn) being recorded synchronously with the rhythm of the stimuli presentation, and where the subsystem (II) for processing the biometric data takes over the records for several subjects and introduces them into an implemented genetic algorithm. As claimed by the invention, the method consists in applying some stimuli, using a stimuli generator, to some subjects, synchronously measuring and recording the biometric signals as the stimuli are presented, using the devices (1...8) for detecting the biometric signals, converting these signals into digital input signals (S1), generating random detection and execution filters (F1...Fn) which take over the signal (S1) at its input and making calculations.Invenţia se referă la un sistem şi o metodă pentru detecţia unor stări caracteristice pe baza datelor biome
