The invention relates to medical equipment, namely to the fluorescence diagnosis of malignant brain tumors using laser radiation.An apparatus including a computer, a monitor, a white light source and recording system comprises an additional lighting source - laser emitter. The recording system includes a lens, a beam splitter, a color image sensor with the possibility of registering an object image sensor black and white image with the possibility of registering the fluorescence radiation, a bandpass filter placed in front of the sensor black and white image. The recording system is adapted to receive successive cycles of the object image and the image of the fluorescence radiation. A computer configured to control lighting white light source simultaneously by detection object sensor color image, as well as with the possibility of registering the object sensor black and white image without additional light source, and with the possibility of lighting control laser emitter simultaneously by detection of fluorescence sensor monochrome radiation image, and to process the received images the output image on the output monitor. Cycles imaging sequence is started at a frequency of from 1 Hz to 100 Hz, sufficient for surgical manipulations.
