PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilized cotton storage device which cannot be contaminated by bacteria when taking out sterilized cotton.SOLUTION: A sterilized cotton storage device includes: a housing provided with a storage part capable of storing sterilized cotton inside thereof a sterilized cotton takeout port formed in the housing so that the sterilized cotton can be taken out from the storage part and a lid member for the sterilized cotton takeout port openably/closably provided in the housing. A bactericide-generating means is provided in the housing or a lid member in such a manner that bactericide-containing atmosphere can be generated around the sterilized cotton takeout port in a space between the lid member and the housing, by reacting with a substance in the air in a state where the lid member is open.
