PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine harvester that can prevent collision between a reel and an auger even when the reel provided at a reaping part is risen and driven at the predetermined height or more, can efficiently prevent collision between the reel and the auger due to erroneous operation of automatic storage of the auger by preventing forgetting a switching operation of an automatic storage position of the auger.SOLUTION: A first storage position B at which the auger 9 is overlapped with a reel 17 viewed from above, and a second storage position A at which the auger 9 is not overlapped with the reel 17 are set in the control part 75. An auger rest 32 is supported at a running machine 2 side to be switched between a first accepting position for accepting the auger 9 in the first storage position B and a second accepting position for accepting the auger 9 in the second storage position A.
