The present invention provides self-assembled microparticles having an acid and an organic base having two or more acid groups in a solvent. The fine particles are formed into a macromolecule structure and can provide a scaffold for cell culture. The particles are on the micron scale. The fine particles can be obtained by contacting a bis-acid and an organic base in a hydrophilic solvent, wherein the acid is insoluble or nearly insoluble in the hydrophilic solvent, and the organic base is soluble in a hydrophilic solvent.
