PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo composition excellent in all of quickness of foaming, smoothness of the foam, elasticity of the foam, usability, and moist feeling.SOLUTION: The shampoo composition containing (a) an anionic surfactant, (b) an amphoteric surfactants, (c) a nonionic surfactant, and (d) a cationic polymer contains (i) alkyl sulfuric acid triethanolamine and (ii) N-acylamino acid salt as (a) contains polyoxyethylene alkyl ether with an HLB value ranging from 16.5 or more to 19.5 or less as (c).
