PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical puncture support system for supporting a vertical implantation operation of a puncture needle with respect to the living body surface.SOLUTION: A vertical puncture support system comprises a probe 11 of an ultrasonic diagnostic device having a guide hole for guiding the implantation direction of a puncture needle 20 and implantation distance measurement means measuring the implantation distance of the puncture needle 20. The guide hole is set in a right angle direction where the implantation angle becomes 0° with respect to the probing surface of the probe 11.
