PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand cream which can maintain the immediate effectivity of a compounded antiseptic for a long period, and to provide a hand cream which will little affect living bodies, even if drunk by mistake, and can maintain the immediate effectivity of a compounded antiseptic for a long period.SOLUTION: This hand cream prepared by dispersing an oily base material in an aqueous component is characterized in that a slightly water-soluble antiseptic is contained in the aqueous component of the hand cream, and &ge60 wt.% of the oily base material is a non-polar oily base material. All components constituting the hand cream are edible compounds.
