The present invention relates to an ultrasonic diagnosing device, and an operating method thereof. The operating method of the ultrasonic diagnosing device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: setting a region of interest (ROI) to magnify in an ultrasonic image on an object； acquiring ultrasonic data corresponding to a candidate area including the ROI； generating a candidate image corresponding to the candidate area based on the acquired ultrasonic data； detecting the shaking of a probe； and displaying a partial image of the candidate image corresponding to the ROI based on the detected shaking of the probe.본 발명은 초음파 진단 장치 및 그 동작방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 초음파 진단 장치의 동작방법은 대상체에 대한 초음파 영상에서 확대하고자 하는 관심영역(ROI)을 설정하는 단계, 상기 관심영역을 포함하는 후보 영역에 대응하는 초음파 데이터를 획득하는 단계, 상기 획득한 초음파 데이터에 기초하여, 상기 후보 영역에 대응하는 후보 영상을 생성하는 단계, 프로브의 흔들림을 검출하는 단계 및 상기 검출된 프로브의 흔들림에 기초하여, 상기 관심영역에 대응하는 상기 후보 영상의 일부 영상을 표시하는 단계를 포함한다.
