An impression material accommodating portion is provided by the side wall (112) and the supporting means (120). Preferably, the body (110) is formed of a hard material such as a metal and the supporting means (120), a supporting member (122) in particular, is formed of a soft material such as plastic and an elastomer. The impression tray (100) according to the present invention has both the advantage of a hard impression tray and the advantage of a soft impression tray in a complementary manner.
