The present invention relates to mannitol granules useful for the preparation of tablets by direct compression, which requires only small amounts of lubricant to be processed. The invention also relates to a process for preparing such granules. The invention also encompasses a powdery composition comprising these granules and also a direct compression process using these powdered compositions.
