PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device 40 for insects for pollen mating, which can detect an abnormal activity of an insect 60 at an early stage to take an appropriate countermeasure at an early stage. A pollen mating insect management device 40 includes an imaging unit 42, an insect identification unit 442, a determination unit 446, and an output unit 448. The imaging unit 42 images the first area 52 including the nest gate 32 of the nest box 30. The insect identifying unit 442 identifies the insect 60 from the image 50 captured by the image capturing unit 42. The determination unit 446 determines whether the activity of the insect 60 identified by the insect identification unit 442 is abnormal.
