To provide a lyophilization container manufactured at low cost, hardly breaking and excellent in gas barrier property, thermal conductivity during lyophilization, and buckling strength when driving a lid and not requiring classified disposal after use.
SOLUTION: The lyophilization container 10 comprising a container body 11 of plastic containing matter to be lyophilized and the lid 21 of plastic fitted in the container body 11 is characterized in that the container body 11 includes a side wall portion 14 formed of a molding 12 and a gas barrier film 13 and a bottom portion 16 covered with the gas barrier film 15 such that at least a part of the same may be constituted of only the gas barrier film 15, and in that the gas barrier film 22 is formed in the lid 21.
