The present invention relates to a topical gel with antiseptic and healing functions from the Leaf of Seaw (still to be identified) and Donkey Ear (Elephantopus Mollis) as an alternative in the treatment of wounds, infections, and minor irritations, thus aiming to provide an efficient alternative in traditional medicine. The gel comprises ketone extracts processed (at 65°C for four hours) from 30gr. of leaves of both plants. Said leaves concentrate and resuspend in distilled water at concentrations of up to 1000 mg/ml and integrate into a water-based gel, subsequently tested on Staphylococcus Aureus and Candida Utilis by plaque and sensor-disc casting technique, throwing a high antimicrobial effectiveness on Staphylococcus Aureus. In addition, the gel is determined as an antiseptic agent at four mg/ml and a high bioavailability (distribution in the skin). Further, it comprises 70% extract of plants (active substance), 25% Carbopol, 2% Triethanolamine (providing consistency), and 3% gl ycerin (providing moisture). Finally, it applies to four mg/ml extract of both plants, thus providing high effectiveness and low concentration, making its origin costs economical and profitable.
