In one embodiment, the present invention is an engagement structure for securing and using a roll of net wrapping, including a planar body having a front surface, a back surface, a first securing feature adapted to connect the engagement structure to an outer net edge of the net wrapping, and a second securing feature adapted to connect the engagement structure to the roll of net wrapping.
