Provided is a gelling agent composition that makes it possible to prepare a gel composition that has good stability. The gelling agent composition includes: (A) at least one N-acyl acidic amino acid dialkylamide represented by formula (I) (the notation of which is described in the description)； and (E) an N-acyl amino acid or (B) a C3–22 fatty acid or a C3–22 fatty acid and a C8–22 higher alcohol. The gelling agent composition includes (A) at least one N-acyl acidic amino acid dialkylamide represented by formula (I), (B') a solvent that has a boiling point of no more than 120℃, and no more than 2 weight% of water.
