PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology which allows both an operator and an assistant to binocularly observe an image of an observation site.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic microscope comprises an illumination system, a pair of main light-receiving systems, a pair of main eyepiece systems, a control unit, a light separation element, and a pair of sub-light receiving systems. The illumination system irradiates a subject eye with illumination light. The pair of main light-receiving systems is arranged in such a manner that each other's objective optical axes are in nonparallel to allow return light of the illumination light irradiated on the subject eye to be guided to first image pickup elements through respective first objective lenses. The pair of main eyepiece systems includes first display units. The control unit causes an image based on an output from one of the first image pickup elements to be displayed on one of the first display units and causes an image based on an output from the other of the first image pickup elements to be displayed on the other of the first display units. The light separation element is disposed closer to the subject eye than one of the first objective lenses and separates a portion of return light of the illumination light.
