SOLUTION: The medical image processer includes an image data storage part 41 for storing three-dimensional image data related to a subject and data on a region to be imaged an air region extracting part 43 for extracting an air region inside the subjects body from the three-dimensional image data a viewpoint position setting part 47 for setting the viewpoint position at a specific location inside the extracted air region according to the region to be imaged and an image generating part 51 for generating projection image data from the three-dimensional image data based on the set viewpoint position.
