PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high content tablet of levofloxacin excellent in administration property and division property without administration difficulty by the impression from the appearance of the tablet despite not being difficult to swallow in fact (i.e., decreased compliance by the apparent administration difficulty affecting strongly mentally resulting in patients' abandoning of administration), or without hesitation of prescriptions by medical practitioners, particularly to elderly person.SOLUTION: The invention provides a tablet containing 500 mg of levofloxacin. The tablet is an elliptical tablet with mass of 570-700 mg. The ratio of major axis/minor axis is in the range of 2.00-2.50, and a major axis is 14-18 mm. The hardness of the tablet is 30-300 N, and has a secant for division, and secant strength of the tablet is 46 N or less.【課題】実際には嚥下するのにさほど困難ではなくとも、錠剤の外観から受けた印象による服用困難性（すなわち見かけの服用困難性が心理的に強く作用し、患者が服用を放棄することによるコンプライアンスの低下）、あるいは医師が処方、特に高齢者に対する処方を躊躇することない、服用性と分割性に優れるレボフロキサシンの高含量錠の提供。【解決手段】レボフロキサシンを500mg含有し、質量が570mg～700mgである楕円形状の錠剤であって、長径/短径比が2.00～2.50の範囲であり、長径が14～18mmであり、錠剤の硬度が30～300Nであり、分割用の割線を有し、かつ割線強度が46N以下である錠剤。【選択図】なし
